Langkawi | Day 1

LANGKAWI TRIP (7.11.2013 - 9.11.13)

DAY 1

Here's the story of our Langkawi trip. I'm already started to miss the place so much as i am writing this post now.

It was a 3 day trip with my buddy, Shankar. Thanks to my buddy for arranging such a wonderful and memorable trip for me.

At KLIA whilst waiting for the flight

We stayed in Sweet Inns Motel, Pantai Chenang.

It was a small room with basic facilities like hot shower, cupboard and a TV set. The room also comes with an attached bathroom.

At the reception, registering

Our Room

Lunch was at Chinese Halal Restaurant. The food was good and the price was fairly reasonable.

Our beer journey started here

We rented a 'myvi' (automated) from the airport. They charged us RM70 per day.

We then headed to Temurun Waterfall. Some photos taken at the waterfall.

We then walked across the road and discovered this beach.

The water was crystal clear

On our way back from Temurun Waterfall, we stopped by at Telaga Harbour Park for some drinks. It's a great place to chill down. There was abundance of high end restaurants selling beers & liquors.

Had few shots of XO.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and it was so relaxing.

The bottom of the table was made of old singer sewing machine.

We then proceeded to the Cable Car to capture the sunset. We reached the highest point of the mountain at about 6.45pm, and there was not many people at the time. Infact we were the last one to leave the cable car.

Unfortunately it was a cloudy day with heavy haze, hence we missed the sunset.

The Langkawi cable car is one of the major attractions of langkawi.

The view from above was spectacular.

Dinner at Oasis Bar and Restaurant at Chenang. It's a beach side bar offering indoor and outdoor dinner facing the beach. There was a wide array of cocktails available and the price was reasonable, and we did enjoy the food as well.
