Avillion Port Dickson | Penning Our Experience
Avillion Port Dickson resort is located on the 3rd mile of Port Dickson's coastal stretch.
We booked their water chalet during the recent Matta Fair.
We reached the resort at about 1.00pm and we were told that the check in will only start at 2.00pm.
So the next thing we did was to go Hanuman's temple which is less than 10 minutes drive from the resort.
We came back at 3.00pm and the check in was fast and smooth. Our bags were carried by the porters to our room.
Unlike the lexis, they don't have a buggy service to drive the the guest to their rooms. The walk from the reception to the water chalet is fairly distance.
We were given room number 906. The resort uses a card reader system and you just need to flash the card at the door knob to unlock the door.
It is quite apparent that the water chalets are designed along the concept of traditional Malay fishing village.
The water chalets look weather beaten and badly needs a new coat.
Our Room
The room was fairly comfortable. It comes with a large bathroom , bath up and open roof shower.
There was a four poster king size bed and a day bed. We noticed that there was no comforter provided for the day bed.
Since the King Size bed was more than sufficient, so we didn't bother to call the house keeping for the comforter.
Toiletries
I just love their shower, it's a rain like effect and refreshing.
The floor at the bathroom was made of polished stones.
There are 3 swimming pools in the resort. One adult pool, one wading pool and one common pool. Some photos taken at the pool.
The wading pool was fairly big with a a pool water slide (as can be seen in the picture above).
Reyya took a ride down the slides numerous time and every slide seemed like an enjoyable moment to her. In
Below is the adult pool, strictly for adults above 18.
Dinner at Teong Ji. Teong Ji restaurant is located at Lukut, and in my opinion by far and large it is the best seafood restaurant in Port Dickson.
Breakfast at Avillion
Due to high occupancy, the breakfast was served in two places , i.e coffee house and their resort's ballroom located at 1st floor.
Below is the photos of the breakfast spread.
Pastries
Mini Salad Bar
Egg station
The spread was only so so and nothing great.
At their playroom
There was a mini petting zoo in the resort. The petting zoo will be opened in the morning and guest are allowed to touch and feed the pets. There was rabbits, peacocks, doves , chicks and tortoise.
According to the pet keeper seen in the picture above, each and every pet has a name, and i remembered she was calling a rooster as 'handsome'.
Dancing with pride.

The look out point.
